Pair of Dipping Dishes for Grating Garlic and Olive Oil

Olive oil is so good for you! This pair of dishes can be used for grating garlic on the textured bottom, adding olive oil and herbs if so desired. I have them for sale in my Amazon shop right now. They are the perfect size for your table. I also have singles listed in my shop, so take a look! Creative Clay Cafe Handmade at Amazon

PS: The raised textured areas were made by pressing in one of my custom clay stamps that I made from the pattern on the bottom of a vintage drinking glass.

Have a great week! It’s getting closer to spring every day!

Happy Holidays!

Handmade at Amazon Shop

It’s so much fun coming up with seasonal items although I tend to gravitate toward making items you can use all year ’round simply for practical reasons.

I am so excited to have some items listed on my new Handmade at Amazon Shop. CLICK HERE TO VIEW MY SHOP—> NEW HANDMADE at AMAZON The items shown above are currently available for sale.

It has been a challenge getting things listed since the official launch of Handmade at Amazon last week. This is already a very busy time of year for artists getting ready for shows, but
I hope the efforts are worth it. I had a sale within 10 hours of the launch, but not much since. I am very hopeful that things pick up. My plan is to list a few items every day and build up the shop inventory.

Let me know what you think. Enjoy the fall season!! I just found out this week that I have been accepted to be a part of two fall shows that were my best ones last year. They are in late November and one is a week later the first weekend of December. Lots to do – good thing I love it!

Dishes With Vintage Glassware and Wood Block Imprints

vintage items to imprint on clay dishes

vintage items to imprint on clay dishes

Not only have I used my own collection of vintage glassware to create reusable stamps to imprint my clay pieces, but I chose an old wood toy block to make a clay stamp…see “bicycle” imprint. I love it! I wish all of the old blocks I have were as fun as the bicycle.

Handmade Lotion Bars in Clay Dishes or Alone… You NEED These!

Everyone needs a lotion bar

Everyone needs a lotion bar

These little lotion bars are great for anyone who works with their hands. It’s time to begin gardening and after digging in the dirt, you need something to moisturize those hands. These will be something you rub into your hands after those hard-working tasks. Made of shea butter, coconut oil, bees wax and lightly scented with premium fragrance oil, they are hard to resist. I have one in almost every room in my home now!

Show schedule for fall will be posted soon. Also, I have the perfect project going on in my other creative endeavor. TORCHED FUSION will soon have information posted about my Art Clay (copper) that I have been playing with. How about that? A clay artist now torch-enameling on copper clay pieces. The perfect union… Photos posted on both blogs about that next week.

Clay with Vintage Glass

This is indeed, one of a kind! One of our handmade clay dishes with a delicate lace imprint — glazed and adhered onto a vintage candle holder piece. This one is featured for sale on our Etsy store.
